Roberto Gluck is an Argentinian entrepreneur and software engineer, co-founder of The Social Radio (listen to your tweets, lists and trending topics mixed with the music you love!). He spent a few days in the US going to tech conferences and networking.
When he was about to leave New Orleans he reached out to us to help him find a local entrepreneur in San Francisco.
We then connected Roberto (left in the photo) with Francisco “Wiki” Chaves, an experienced UI/UX designer at Lemon (App that captures your receipts so you can throw away the paper and visualise your money in a whole new way).
The experience went really well.
Wiki said: “We had three great days. We spoke about his app, Lemon and many other geek things “.
Roberto said: “It was really cool to stay with Wiki at his place in San Fran. It was very comfortable, had loads of space and was very well located to quickly move around the city. He and his girlfriend made me feel at home the entire time.
Wiki very kindly also invited me to visit Lemon’s office (his current startup).
I was in the middle of a long trip within the US and stopping at Wiki’s place for a few days was a fantastic experience. On one hand it’s nice so save a few bucks in accommodation but it’s even better to meet someone that you can really discuss your business with and also learn from theirs.”
We’re doing some final testing and getting ready to launch Startup Stay (invite-only) in the next few days. What city are you travelling to next?
